Finally....some art actually done..!!

I thought I would attempt to finally do some artwork this weekend and realised how much I had missed doing it..!! The theme is 'sisters'. I hope the enthusiasm stays with me for the rest of the year..!!

Goth Swap

This is my piece for Gillian's Goth Swap.Gillian runs Art-e-Zine and she has posted the swap on the site. It was a fun swap to do as Gothic anything is very much up my street..!! You can see all the other cards here.It was a pleasure to swap with such a very talented group of women.

Final {Pock-et-ful}

Here is my final piece for The Altered Workshop RR called {Pock-et-ful}. The piece is for Andi and I will be handing it over to her in person at Art & Soul..!! It has been a long but worthwhile RR, and I have enjoyed working in all 16 books.

Penultimate {Pock-et-ful}

Well here is the almost final {Pock-et-ful} for Sue. Sue's book is a gothic arch shape and its lovely. Its coming home Sue..!!!

Colour Play..The End..!!

Here is my final artwork for the Arte-ed-Anima group Colour Play RR. This is for Sue Leslie's book, and my last book to work in..!! The colours were to be yellow, red and violet and the technique was transfers. As usual I did a 'touch of colour'  rather than an 'in your face' colour...I know....I know....I cheat well..!!!

Santa's {Pock-et-ful}

Here are my pages for Santa's book. Santa's theme is 'Life's little lessons'. Her book is an old record book. Sue and I are doing tip-ins for it as its too heavy to send to us in the UK. The record sleeve is the pocket, and I will be enclosing some British Ephemera for Santa to use in her art in the future.
 

Lou's [Pock-et-ful]

Here are my pages for Lou's [pock-et-full] RR book. Lou's book is a lovely old ledger with alphabetical pages. I chose the letter  'L'  for Lily, the railway inspector's wife..!! The Victorian ephemera on the pages are all relevant to the railroad. I really enjoyed working in Lou's book, its a beauty. The pocket is hidden and a label of an railway receipt slides out of it.

Kathy Wasilewski [Pock-et-ful] RR

Here is my [pock-et-ful] RR pages for Kathy's book. Her book style is vintage, so I did a suffregette theme. I seem to be catching up a bit now, I must try and do one more before I go to Paris next week.

Finally found time to get some artwork finished..!!..I have a window between the 'proper' work that pays the bills, and thought I had better take advantage and catch up with some fun stuff..!! This is the last Paris journal for Kathy, now we are all set to go in October..!!..Phew..!!
