First work for Masters..!!

I have done some new bits for my "first work in progress" report for University..!! The first years....of which I am one..!!....Lol.....have to do a kind of 'show and tell' as a starting point to go forward from for the next two years....so...I did some mailart and a couple of pieces using old book covers. One of which I have reworked an old piece as I wasn't happy with it..!!

I am relieved to have gone first and got it over with, and very happy that everyone seemed to 'get it'..!!....all I have to do now is move it all on over the next two years....bit of a tall order, but a wonderful challenge....one I am definitely up for.

ATC Swap

As usual I am late in sending ATC's to swap partners on the Arte-ed-Anima Group..!!..Forgive me girls..on their way now..!!

Something new..........finally...;-)

Well, its been a really busy summer, and not much art has been done here at all..!!... but hopefully that will now change..!!.....My son is going back to University for his second year this weekend, my daughter has been back a couple of weeks now doing her last two years at secondary school, and I am going back to University to start my Masters in Fine Art in two weeks..!!... I decided its time I got my act together and find time to experiment and play again, so I applied in June and was offered a place..!!...It will be so great to be among like minded people once again on a regular basis.This piece has just gone on my wall at home, finally finished from a year ago......!!!...Space has now been cleared for the 'new' work..!!

Finally....some art actually done..!!

I thought I would attempt to finally do some artwork this weekend and realised how much I had missed doing it..!! The theme is 'sisters'. I hope the enthusiasm stays with me for the rest of the year..!!

Goth Swap

This is my piece for Gillian's Goth Swap.Gillian runs Art-e-Zine and she has posted the swap on the site. It was a fun swap to do as Gothic anything is very much up my street..!! You can see all the other cards here.It was a pleasure to swap with such a very talented group of women.

Final {Pock-et-ful}

Here is my final piece for The Altered Workshop RR called {Pock-et-ful}. The piece is for Andi and I will be handing it over to her in person at Art & Soul..!! It has been a long but worthwhile RR, and I have enjoyed working in all 16 books.

Penultimate {Pock-et-ful}

Well here is the almost final {Pock-et-ful} for Sue. Sue's book is a gothic arch shape and its lovely. Its coming home Sue..!!!

Colour Play..The End..!!

Here is my final artwork for the Arte-ed-Anima group Colour Play RR. This is for Sue Leslie's book, and my last book to work in..!! The colours were to be yellow, red and violet and the technique was transfers. As usual I did a 'touch of colour'  rather than an 'in your face' colour...I know....I know....I cheat well..!!!

Santa's {Pock-et-ful}

Here are my pages for Santa's book. Santa's theme is 'Life's little lessons'. Her book is an old record book. Sue and I are doing tip-ins for it as its too heavy to send to us in the UK. The record sleeve is the pocket, and I will be enclosing some British Ephemera for Santa to use in her art in the future.
